    Dead by daylight for xbox game pass pc


    Hi, I've been having an issue about dead by daylight for windows. I downloaded the game off of the xbox app since I have gamepass. It was working perfectly fine before but now when I launch the game, it tells me to press space so I press it and then it loads for a bit. Once it's done it shows error 8014 "this is caused by the servers being down try again later". I know it isn't the game because my friends on ps4 are able to play perfectly fine. Here is an image of the error. Thank you for reading

    did you install dead by daylight or the special edition?

    You can play Dead by Daylight: Special Edition with Xbox Game Pass for Console, or buy it to own.

    dead by daylight is purchasable may have been on gamepass and rolled off.

    The Microsoft Store (Game Pass) version of Dead by Daylight is Crossplay with the Steam version. However, they are not Cross-progression. For more information, see the official Dead by Daylight support page.

    I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing issues accessing your characters on PC.

    Unfortunately, Dead by Daylight is not part of the "Play Anywhere" program and as such, it requires separate purchases for each gaming platform. This means that the base game and any DLC content purchased on console won't work on PC (and vice versa).

    I'm afraid this is the reason why you don't see your characters in the PC version of the game.
