    Dead by daylight does not work in game pass


    I bought game pass thinking I could play dead by daylight, but when i start up the game, the cut scene starts. Afterwards it says press A to continue, when i press a it takes me to a screen saying buy game pass.

    If you have regular game pass, it's required to have Xbox live gold to play the game as is a online game, but regular game pass doesn't include the gold suscription, only game pass ultimate includes it

    Others have had this issue and signing out and back in seems to help.

    did you install dead by daylight or the special edition?

    You can play Dead by Daylight: Special Edition with Xbox Game Pass for Console, or buy it to own.

    dead by daylight is purchasable may have been on gamepass and rolled off.

    I would say Dead by Daylight as that's the game I've got the most out of from Game Pass so far.
