De-linking a controller from PC, without using the PC?

I had my Xbox One S controller linked to my PC via bluetooth. Unfortunately the PC is now broken, and the controller will not link to the Xbox. Any suggestions? I might have the option of replacing the PC motherboard but would prefer another solution.

Hi, yes you can connect an Xbox One game controller to the PC or Xbox One using a cable without having batteries inserted in the controller.

I maybe VERY wrong but, A Xbox console contoller is different from an Xbox PC controller.

If you purchase an Xbox Pc Controller it will work with PC games that support the configuration.

A normal Console controller is not usable on a PC without the right cable and drivers.........

You will need to press and hold the controller's "bind" button (small button near the left bumper on top of the controller) until the glowing Xbox logo flashes. Then, press the "bind" button on the console until its Xbox logo flashes. When both devices are
flashing, they will eventually connect and stop blinking.

Heya!

Internet Expert has some great advice there and we would definitely recommend tryin that first.

If you run into issues with those steps you can also unplug the controller from any power source, remove the batteries, wait 5 mins and then plug the controller into the console with a USB cable. Then try the pairing steps once more.

Para Conectar un control inalámbrico Xbox a una PC Windows sigue los pasos de ese link.
Ten en cuenta que tu control debe de estar actualizado, trata de checar si necesitas Actualizar el control inalámbrico
Xbox.
