    Hey i was playing a game of rainbow six he threaten to take my internet down using a (Bot attack) which is popular the two types of attack DDOS will use is dns and botc (bot attack) i have defend against many of these attack i will give a tip if some inv
    you to a party after you did some toxic behavior like team killing or something to upset someone do not join there party what they will do is pull your IP through the party the way they do this is by pulling your IP through port 3074 dont know if xbox lets
    you use diffrent ports but if you are a mother or a dad of a son or daughter and if you are worried about this talk about maybe blocking port 3074 with your isp blocking port 3074 seemes to only block communication with console party chats and game chat if
    you are a victim of an attack call up your isp (internet service provider) and tell them you are getting DDOS and ask them the steps to stop the attack they might ask you to reset them modem this was my enncounter through messages is at the top rember be safe
    on all platforms.

    Report this player via his profile to the Xbox support, a moderator of the Xbox checks the whole thing, he can be completely excluded from the Xbox. This is the only way to help you, you can not do anything against DDos.

    Sorry to hear it. DDoS attacks are illegal and could result in jail time for the person doing it. If you are the victim of an attack please unplug your modem/router for 60 seconds to reset it and powercycle your console by holding the power button on
    it for 10 seconds till it shuts down. After that contact your ISP and let them know about the attacks and request an IP Address change. They will investigate the attacks from their end.

    As for the person that's doing this, please be sure to report them by going to their bio and selecting Report or Block and follow the instructions provided. The PET will get this report and investigate the claim then take any necessary actions on the
    account.
