  1. Ddos banning

I know of an account that has repeatedly threatened to ddos attack me and my friends and has also gone through with it a few times.

There isn't really any way to prove that he is though because whenever I tempt him to say it in a message he realizes or just doesn't respond, the only times he says it is in party chats and social medias. So I'm wondering if I can get him banned for this.
He is basically blackmailing us into playing with him at this point.

    :)

ok Microsoft has to fix how xbox parties work I connected to a party through a vpn and my xbox was on I popped open wireshark and people could still see my ip. and don't say it isn't possible to stop ddos attacks fortnite, discord, and other voip applicatians
have stopped ip sniffing very easily so why can Microsoft just do it? Fortnite and discard are literally free! also every "booter" is a script kiddie get nord vpn on your router / xbox and they will just leave.

It's actually illegal to ddos attack someone or a company. You can contact your ISP and the local authorities and the person doing it could be subject to fines and or jail time if caught. I believe it is up to 10 years in jail and up to a $500,000 in fines.
Not sure if anyone has ever actually gone to jail or not.

Since Ddos attacks are done through your internet and not Live, there isn't really a way for the enforcement team to ban them. You can still report them though. Ultimately, you'd want to contact your ISP to alert them of the issue.

Report and block as said . And I would get in touch with your provider and explain what's going on to them 👍

If he dose not you just reset your router, you should get back on 👍
