DDoS Attackers and Account Hackers.

I was threatened by a player named [Mod Removed] that he would DDoS Attack me and as well steal my account and information dont take him lightly he almost took my account.

be highly cautious with DDoS attackers and account hackers. I have had a problem with Account hackers before so dont take the adults who threaten lightly and write their GamerTag down to keep them on check so if something suspicious does happen.

and to the players who use a DDoS attacking program its not worth it as a self defense tool 10 years in a federal jail is nor worth a small self defense.

What the hell do ddos attacks have to do with security? These hackers are a sad bunch of basement dwellers.

 

Report them through your console.

 

And no name and same please.

 

Block and report the user. Turn your router/modem off for at least 10 seconds or more. Once you turn it back on you should be assigned a new IP. Unless you have a static IP, but I highly doubt that since you have no clue on what to do when you are DDosed.
Just make sure you block the user before resetting your router/modem. For the
official Xbox page on DDosing and how you can prevent it.

Please file a complaint against the user using the tools on the console and then block communications. The below link will help you with the process and there is a wealth of information on there about how to keep your account safe. 99% of threats like this
are completely empty and its highly unlikely that your account will be breached so long as you haven't shared any personal information.

Oops, I should have read the content. I only read the title and copied what I said in a previous post so I would not have to re-type everything.

 

Name and shame ban is BS the ppl that do this sort of thing are criminals. They need punished!!!! I currently in the market for an Xbox 1 now I'm rethinking this decision.

 

I got ddossed by a player named [Mod removed] I would like to see him banned and or investigated although I know it was him.

 

As mentioned several times already,you are not allowed to call out gamertags on the forums.
