    DCU online Continually advertises that I need an Xbox live gold to play, I have gold already. also it tells me that I am not allowed to play multi player but I have checked my setting numerous times and it set to play multiplayer...suggegetions on
    how to start...

    Who else here thinks they should create a sequel to DC Universe online?

    I think a game in a Destiny style would be great for DCU Online. In general, we need better superhero games, that are really engaging for a long time, so I'm all for it.

    Asherons Call came out in 1999. AC 2 shut down because it didn't have enough subscribers.

    EVE Online came out in 2003.

    DCU Online went free to play or freemium within a year.

    Warhammers lost more than half its population within the first year and it continued to decline steadily with servers being shut down and merged. It never did well. It got good reviews but that doesn't matter if people don't wanna pay for your game monthly.
    It certainly wasn't just a licensing issue that shut it down, it was a money pit from the start.

    What else you got? You listed two grandfathered games(might as well list WoW and Everquest instead) and two that are great examples of how badly subscription models perform in the modern market. Thanks for proving my point I guess.
