Hello. I am looking for someone to explain what I am doing wrong. I have a Dazzle DVC 100 to record my gameplay. I bought a component wire to hook it all together but when I go to record the tv image, I don't see a picture in my Dazzle recorder program.

So my component wire is hooked up exactly how this kid on You Tube hooked it up, and he got it to work (here is the video link):

I have the green, blue, and red wires hooked into the back of the component jack of my tv (RCA 1080p). Then there are 3 more wires that go into the Dazzle (yellow, white, and red). I made sure to have my component wire's switch to t.v. and not hdtv. Finally,
the usb cable runs from the Dazzle to the computer, and then you open the recorder program. From there, you are supposed to be seeing the image that is on your t.v., but I don't.

If anyone could help me, I would appreciate it. My direct e-mail is: *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***. thank you in advance.

    :)

I had the pvr bit rate set at 4.3 mbit. thats thats half of what its capable of. But i think the dazzle is good for a dazzle though.

You need to record your pvr on a higher setting. I think i have mine set to 9mbps (goes up to 13.5mbps). That dazzle quality is good for a dazzle though.

Have you messed around with the input settings at all? If you have't then that's what I suggest.

Hello. Thank you for your response. I am assuming you've used the Dazzle before? If so, have you used it the way I'm trying to? My main question to your response is, and I don't want it to sound like a dumb one, but, you asked me if I messed around with
the settings. Are you talking about the settings for the t.v., xbox, or dazzle programs? Thanks

Hey sorry for the late response. I used to do a similar setup a few years back using Dazzle before I switched to an HD PVR to do recordings. I remember running into some issues getting it to work at first so I went into the settings in the pinnacle studio
program and messed around changing input settings and stuff and after doing that for a while I got it to work.
