Since dayz was anounced for ps4 will it be comming to xbox one????

Erm...................no it doesn't.

I tried DayZ on PC, and its a dire, dreadful, waste of a game.

If you want something like DayZ then perhaps try 7 Days to Die or perhaps Ark Survival (I know Ark doesn't have zombies, but it does have the PvP aspect of DayZ)

DayZ is not exclusive to any platform. If you watched Sony's Gamescom press event the developer said first to console on PS.

 

I wouldn't get too excited about this game.It's a big open world with nothing in it.All the gameplay I've watched on Twitch I havent seen anyone do anything but running.Never shooting anything.They're just running.Where are they running to? I think the indie
game ApocZ has a lot more to offer than this for 1 dollar.Not only do you get to drive cars you get to shoot things too.

 

Yes, It will be coming to Xbox One. The Developer mentioned that it is not a ps4 console exclusive and they have plans of putting it to other platforms ( Xbox One). Although it might be a while

 

DayZ Standalone is a mess at the moment. Its full of bugs! From not being able to aim your weapon to your character not being able to run. It is still in Alpha stages for sure. As someone mentioned above it still doesn't even have vehicles yet. It will take
the Standalone game at least another year for it to be worth playing on the PC. There is no telling how long it will take to come to console; or if it will even be the same game. It could be a dumbed down version for all we know.

In the mean time the DayZ Arma Mod has tons of more content and not even as many bugs.

 

I hope so, Day Z has been on of those games I always wanted to play but I don't PC game enough to actually want to buy it.

I'd give it a try on Xbox though.

 

DayZ is strictly a timed exclusive. Before Gamescom, the developers mentioned they wanted to do a console port, but was also considering a whole new game. They said it's first on console on PS4, just like Smite and other indies are first on console for Xbox
One. After a certain amount of time, those titles will be on PS4. Just as DayZ, No Man's Sky, and other's will be on XBox One.

Again as someone else mentioned, after Gamescom, a developer said it'll be on other consoles.

Frankly I don't care for it, as I'm not a fan of zombie games. The game isn't even finished on PC. So I'm assuming they're ignoring the PC version for now to work on the console versions.

 

It's possible, but right now it's anyone's guess. I have a feeling it will come out a little later.

 

It seems like doing a timed exclusive is the best way to go for a developer. Work on one version, release it and get paid extra for only releasing it on that console. Then work on another consoles version until the timed exclusive ends. Profit.

 

Can someone explain the appeal to me of DayZ because I have no idea how its become popular. As someone above said, watch any random video and its just someone running somewhere, then they stop and pick up a hat (or can of food, or axe, etc) then more running
- uh oh met someone, face off, dedz, respawn, more running. Am totally clueless on how fun could be extracted from this. I watched FishPlayStreetFighter on Twitch and it was infinitely more fun although I still feel like I lost a huge part of my life doing
it.

 

^ The appeal of DayZ is not the fun you could have playing it. Its the sense of urgency or the feeling you get not knowing if you can stay alive for even the first night. Like Minecraft for grownups. More so with the DayZ mods because you can build your
own base in those. There is really not a game out there that has massive maps, with looting, PvE, rouge-like deaths(you lose everything when you die) and base building like DayZ. You get a sense of accomplishment in playing and keeping your character alive
for as long as possible, or helping others survive, or even stealing from others. Its probably not a game you want to play if you are just looking to have fun. It can be fun at times though, its a huge sandbox world so you never know what can happen.

 

So far,unfinished game on PC,Dean Hall leaving Bohemia Interactive and Day Z by the end of 2014.So don't expect much when this game will hit consoles....

 

It is expected to come out on the Xbox Game Preview later this year or next year. So you may be able to play it in Alpha mode until full release.
