DayZ release on the preview program?

Found this video on you tube:



The author "apparently" shows DayZ present in the the game preview area of the Xbox One store.

Later on it also shows up as a downloaded game in his dashboard. He then shows some game play but without the presence of other players and firefights.

What is this? A leaked anticipation or some kind of fake??

DayZ is coming to Xbox One Preview first and then for the public release.

 

Is DayZ still coming to Xbox?

Back in 2015 at E3 Xbox announced the Game Preview Program that would release in winter of 2015 and one of the games that was supposed to release as a part of the program was DayZ but it has almost been 2 years since the announcement of the Game Preview
Program and DayZ but all the games announced for the game Preview Program have been released except for dayZ and I have been looking really forward for DayZ to come to Xbox but there has been no new information about the game coming to console since the announcement
at E3 2015.

 

Yeah, that caught my eye too when it came across my playlist.

I've tried to do a few minutes of digging prior to watching the clip. I could not find any resources or suggestions that lead me to believe that it is available in the preview system update.

I don't have access to the preview access so I'm unable to certifiably say that it is not there.

I could not find any websites, forum posts or media on the DayZ game preview.

The video does not show an inventory screen, which would be pivotal in knowing if the YouTuber was indeed playing it on the Xbox One.

The game looked, from my PCs standpoint, playing at 60 FPS on high settings.

I cannot say what it would look like on the Xbox One for certain. But i don't think it would look that crisp and clear.

He also goes in and out of his dashboard a few times. Now, when I'm playing Battlefield 4, going in and out lags me a little bit, and I think it would lag a bit too if it happen to be Dayz, but as its shown, it is almost seamless.

To wrap it up, I don't think it's real, just a very cleaver hoax.

We do know that it was confirmed at E3 this year, Bohemia Interactive stating that they have a playable version that they are testing on Twitter..

I wouldn't get any hopes up until the PC version comes out of beta. Which should be by the end of this year. Remember, they rumors have gone back all the way to 2014. So don't get any feelings until we know for sure.
