Day Zero? What a joke...

So frustrated. Here is my story, I started to download the digital version of the game on Saturday around noon PST. It didn't finish till Sunday 8pm PST. I'm stoked as I'm 2hrs away from playing it. Walking dead was on so I let that finish out. I come to

Back to store I click on it and it redownloads? Are you serious now Microsoft? Why would I pre download a game twice? I want to know what was it doing the first time? With my speed I'll have to wait another 30hrs

Same issue here. Two hours in and I'm at 4%. I did three hard resets, went offline, etc. Nothing fixed this. I took time off to play day zero and now this? I want a full refund MS.

 

Yes, i find it hard to believe that we have been suckered into paying extra for straight up false advertising. If your company cannot adequately compensate the increased server attention, you should not be allowed to charge us extra for a game we cannot
play.

I am now only at 61% download after 9 hours. This is pathetic and am expecting to receive compensation.

 

Same issue here, preloaded last week... been downloading AGAIN for the last 12 hours this is ridiculous. Having paid a premium to get access early I feel robbed. What is Activision Microsoft going to do about this? All of us effected deserve at the very
least a public apology, if not some kind of partial refund.

 

What premium did you guys pay to play day zero? The game was $59.99 on my Xbox.

 

XBOX one sucks. Plain truth. It cant do half of what the 360 did, even a year after launch.

 

I gave up last night after two hours and only 11% downloaded. When I woke up, it was at 61% but I could play. I cpuld only play the first campaign mission. It said 93% and then 100% soon after but still didn't let me play anything more. I uninstalled the
game and am reinstalling now offline. It's at 4% after 10 minutes.

 

I agree with the compensation deal... Normally I wouldn't just because most problems on Xbox aren't as bad as this one, but when double xp is offered, and at 9 in the morning I get on and expect my call of duty to finally work because they should've fixed
the issue by now, I instead have to reinstall my 46 or so GB game... So now not only can I not play my game when I should be able to, but I'm missing out on the double xp while all my friends get to enjoy their game. THIS IS DUMB. Like you guys are saying,
there was a reason why I pre-downloaded the huge game. This is going to take FOREVER...

Same issue here. Had it downloaded and it just reset, 3 hours later and only at 28%! I better get some kind of compensation!

 

All those effected should get season pass for free, period.

 

Im Fed up of this they said they fixed it? my download went from 32% back to 26%?? what the hell screw this never downloading digital again...

 

I posted my story on another thread but ya i bought the console and was stuck with digital but never had a problem that way on the 360

 

servers have nothing to do with the game being downloaded if thats the case then they sure dont know how to run a business. time after time we have these issues and you think by now they would have the brains to put 2 and 2 together but they dont instead
what you get...unistall and reinstall, delete your save file, maybe its your internet connection not once did i hear the customer rep tell me its their fault. yet it shows because these forums are lighting up and all tech have their tails between their legs
not one person dares to comment now that is customer support at its finest. where we take you money for a game we dont fully test then when you have issues we point the blame finger and make you wait an infinite amount of time to fix the issue...next gen gaming

My heart goes out to people who do not have an unlimited data internet plan. "El cheapo grandes", Activition (you know... the people from Warcrap...) and Microsoft... Sell us a day zero game... Make us download it... Some of us twice... And the day's more
than half gone... and no where close to being able to play... What do we want? Compensation!!! When do we want it? NOW!!!!!!
