Day Z

Why the hell didn't ms get day z on xbox one? This is the 1st thing that has made me want a ps4. I feel dirty and must wash.

I have been on Xbox live gold for 6 yrs. I never complained about anything Microsoft does but today I am. I don't understand why Microsoft would make it so difficult for indie company's, Bohemia, to put one of the most anticipated MMO'S on Xbox One. PS4
is getting it, how can you compete by allowing games like Day Z not make it. If anyone agrees please post. Let's see if we can help Microsoft allow something as great as Day Z to come to Xbox One. This is an opportunity for Microsoft to show off what the "1"
can produce on a large scale. If anyone is not aware of Day Z go and check it out on YouTube. As of right now it's a mod for Arma 2 but it is confirmed to becoming to the "4"(boooooooooo). Let's band as "1" and make Day Z arrive.

 

its being remade to the ps4 strenghs i can tell u now the pc version will look better and they couldnt port it over. they will make it for xbox but i aint too bothered about it

 

The presenter made it very clear it wasn't an exclusive. You might have to wait a little longer, but I am happy with that, PS4 can have the first version and 6 months later xbox can have the complete bug free version.

 

I didn't watch the reveal, just seen the story on ign. This was also after many conversions with xbox support in Ireland.

 

It's not exclusive. Rocket has even started before that if it was coming to consoles it wasn't going to be exclusive to a single platform. Doesn't change the fact that the games bad though. It's essentially a FFA deathmatch and the survival aspect is pretty
much a joke. Another issue with the game is it's hard to play with friends. It's basically spawn > run for 15 minutes trying to find them > potentially find them > get shot in the back by some random guy then repeat the process.

 

Wow its still in the alpha stage on pc isn't it? Its also buggy as crap.

 

Give it time. More information will become available. No one stated it was exclusive, seeing as it is on Microsoft Windows. I am sure it will be on Xbox One

 

The developers tweeted about this. Day Z is not exclusive to any platform. It may come to PS first but xbox will be getting it.

 

Yes it's still in Alpha on PC and its been in alpha for a few years now. With the rate it's moving along it probably wont even be out until 2016.

 

@Bon3zz1001 The DayZ alpha only came in December of 2013. PC version still a buggy mess mind you. That H1Z1 and DayZ coming to consoles now apparently. Am exited for it as I get to play it with friends finally as there all consoles gamers and not PC gamers.

 

Standalone yes but the mods been out for sometime. The core gameplay hasn't really changed a whole lot.

 

I paid for it on PC, and am questioning if my profile will be transferable to XBOX when it makes it's debut.

 

DayZ is also a terrible game, played it for five or six hours on PC and hated every minute of it.

DayZ goes like this, spawn, walk around, find stuff, die. Spawn, run around, find stuff, die. Spawn, run around, run around some more, find a gun, kill some zombie, die to a player.

Basically you die, a lot.
