Day One Xbox One Losing Controller Sync Ever Since Latest System Update

I have a day one xbox one and a special edition white xbox one. ever since the latest system update, controllers will not stay sync'd with the Day One Xbox One. Batteries are fully charged, also tried regular batteries just to make sure.

Updated controllers, but still no change. Disconnects happen every 30 seconds to 2 minutes and the XBox button on the controller starts flashing, responsiveness is lost and then the disconnect error message will pop up on screen until it re-syncs.

When can we expect a fix for this?

Elite controller not working

my elite controller lost the sync with Xbox one s since I did the latest update on the system tried the wireless and USB connections it goes above 100% to 300 % then says error.

 

XBOX ONE ELITE Controller - Not Syncing - Not Connecting

Brand New 1 day old Elite Xbox One - Controller will not sync.

Elite controller is updated, it received the latest update.

Xbox One Elite console received the new update.

Replaced batteries (Used 8 sets of batteries, Duracells and Energizers)

Plugged in USB - Works when plugged in, unplug after a few minutes and light just flashes indefinitely and will not sync.

Tried syncing via sync button on console and controller.

Power Cycled Console numerous times.

Unplugged console numerous times.

FACTORY RESET the Elite Console 5 times.....

So far this is a total disappointment so far! $500 console and the *** controller won't sync!

I reccommend trying to Power Cycle your console. If this doesn't help the issue, I then reccommend connecting your Wireless Controller to the Xbox using a USB to Micro USB cable for a temporary fix in a hope that soon Microsoft will find a way to resolve
your issue.

 

Like I said, i've been through the basic tech support steps. This did not fix the problem... The only thing that works is a USB cable long enough to reach the unit.

This is not a solution either, but a temporary fix as you stated.

So, a month and a half later, not one word from MS with any kind of update...

 

I got the same situation here it seems to stop for a day if I power cycle then it starts again getting real annoying :/

 

I am also having this issue. Tried multiple controllers and re-syncing. Only thing that seems to fix it for me is a power cycle, but I've had to do that every day. Started after this latest software update for me.

 

Hi guys! I have a solution that seems to be fixing this problem for some people. Give this a try and let me know how it works for you.

1. Remove batteries from the controller

2. Plug the controller into the console with a USB cord

3. Hard reset the console (turn off, remove power source, turn back on)

4. While console is powering on, hit the bind button on the left side 3x

5. After the console is at the Dashboard, hit the bind button on the controller 3x.

6. Profit, because the controller should be connected now. Put the batteries back in and go wireless.

 

I've tried the method mentioned above and it does not fix my problem.Something needs to be done about this,obviously this is not a random issue something is wrong!!
