@listed - jealous that I don't have an early adopted beta-baby? Ummm, no. I wouldn't get one now if they were half price. I don't doubt that some people are happy, and that's great but if the X1 has zero games that interest me at this time, it's utterly
pointless for me to get one. Maybe I'll feel different around Christmas.

April Update: Voice messages are coming

Voice messages should have been available day 1 on the Xbox One.

 

I love my Xbox One. I think it's great they're lowering the price in England. I'm also not mad about them including Titanfall for free. It just means more people are going to buy an Xbox One now. A lot of people are under the assumption the console isn't
selling well, but it is. I sell more Xbox One's in my store than I do PS4's. The UK needed a price cut anyways. I don't feel like I got ripped off, nor do I feel like I deserve anything in return.

 

If it was just about the type of games you are waiting for fair enough, but you make it more about Beta this Broken that when in reality for those that actually own it those aren't quite true and if you had it you would know that. It's not perfect but it
will get there. I'm much happier to have had it early and less polished than to have waited 6 months without it while PS4 players got to play 64 player BF4( broken as it is).

 

I'm a day one buyer, the updates will come and make the software better overtime. I'm very happy with my purchase! Don't know why the OP is upset. Guess he isn't playing the GAMES!

 

None of these negative comments are from people that actually play the games.

You call it a beta baby which is soo quite funny. So it has like 5 less apps than the 360 did and is waiting to get its full graphical power output. That's not being a baby that is pure conservative.

I think it was smart incase of a failed launch, would have meant less money wasted. So in turn they are kicking down left and right. And if you say otherwise your eyes have been closed.. Or you are just not using the channels you have to get rewarded. Sorry

actually had to pay $99 extra for my console as gamestop logged in my last payment as $1.00 instead of $100.00 again...not the issue here...but I believed in the console's value so I paid it ) I want to thank those who have replied with kindness whether
with me or against me...as for the rest of you lot who were mean and dis-respectful ..You have only shown your true quality and lack of concern so why even post...It just makes you look bad! All I am saying is Day ONE should mean more than a tiny decal on
a controller that will wear-out if used too much...I wish it meant having a voice...and for me it took 4-months of saving up the money to be able to purchase this...but I did it... and it was an investment..if nothing more than a personal one. I miss the
friendliness of the 360 and still feel drawn toward turning it instead of my shiny new xbox one! If I stuck my foot out with all the other day one players it would be nice for Microsoft to let us all know that they do care and ask us what we think and listen
to what we have to say about it ! a day one logo on a controller is a bit like an" I <3 NY " t-shirt! I mean yeah...I'll wear it..but it's the experience while there that really matters!

As for the UK price drop.... everything there is so inflated, expensive, unlike here. Don't get me wrong, $500 is a lot of money for a hobby, as long as I can afford it, I will carry on.

As for the Beta testing, who really cares? All users will get the update, eventually.

At the end of the day you decided to make the choice to buy the X1 Day 1. The price drop will have zero bearing in North America, and as for the TF console.... meh...

 

All you people saying we don't deserve jack are wrong. First, what Microsoft has done is tell all day one people that they are fools for buying early. Let's look at the facts. First, there were no launch exclusive titles. Second, there were hardly any
apps or arcade games. Thirdly there was a plague of problems from faulty hardware to buggy software to missing features. After dealing with all these problems and helping Microsoft work through their issues by providing feedback and dealing with a crappy
os, I think they should show their appreciation. I'm not asking for a free game. Maybe some free live service or something would be nice. I have been on Xbox since the real day one. I've bought thousands of dollars worth of games. I even rebuy systems
for the special edition (the best was the green halo edition). To let me buy a system and three months later put out the real launch version with their exclusive game for free is just a slap in the face. I have learned my lesson. I will no longer preorder
any Xbox products. I'm tired of being their guinea pig and not being appreciated. By the way, I'm already on my second xbone. The first had a bad Blu-ray and has to be swapped (and no, I didn't get a free game because MS cut off the date DURING Xmas break...
). I'm also plagued by game crashes because their os can't handle memory management. The only solution to that is using energy saving mode. I'm usually a big Microsoft fan and own all of their products (I'm typing this on a Surface right now) but the Xbox
has been a major disappointment.

I could have been playing Forza, Killer Instinct and Dead Rising on PS4 all this time! Why did nobody tell me?

 

Also, in the same paragraph you say that day one users should not have been used as beta testers...before saying everyone should get the dash beta?

 

By launch exclusive, I mean exclusive to Xbox ONE. Aside from one arcade game, all the others were avail on 360. That's not the definition of launch exclusive.

 

They were, were they? So I can buy Forza 5, Ryse, and Dead Rising 3 on Xbox 360 then can I?
