    I have gotten pre-order bonuses on all of my digital purchases except this game. Anyone know if there were any for digital buyers ?

    Xbox Day One Bonus Doesn't Work

    Hello, I bought a Day One Xbox One with a Day One Xbox Live 12 Month Gold Membership card. This card was supposed to come with a bonus that was "Killer Instinct: Round One Digital Game & Shadow Jago Character". However, the code for the bonus doesn't work.
    I would appreciate it if you could give me a replacement code for the same bonus. PM me for more information, pictures of the card, or proof of purchase.

    Day one digital bonuses.

    Yeah I cost myself the BF4 preorder bonus when i decided to forego the disc and get a digital copy. I thought I read that if you buy the game digitally within two weeks of release, you get all the generic rewards (aka not ones link to specific retailers).
    My post in the support forums though shows the error in my ways.

    The pre-order bonuses were all retail specific. You can purchase the Season Pass and get every bonus plus some DLC.

    Thats pretty sad considering i got DLC when buying all my other games digitally on day one.

    Those DLC's weren't retail-specific. If you have issues with it, you'll need to take it up with that specific game's developer. Places like Amazon, Best Buy, Gamestop, etc etc. pay good money to the devs in order to have these little enticements.

    Just spent an hour on the chat with Xbox Support trying to get my DLC codes. Got told several times that you cannot get them without a pre-order.

    How you are supposed to pre-order a digital purchase before the console comes out is beyond me.

    They escalated it to the advocacy department. Hopefully I will get a resolution soon.

    No I received a $10 digital gift card code from the Microsoft Store for pre-ordering the game. The code for Free Fall came with the game.

    No I don't think it needed to be a Day One edition to get it for Ghosts.
