    Day One Controller: batteries get extremely hot


    the whole controller is getting hot and the batteries constantly are having to be changed

    Hey Bacchus,

    That doesn't sound fun to experience while gaming. Are you still able to use the controller when its heated up? Does the controller get hot as well or just the batteries? Have you tried the USB cord for the controller? Does the controller heat up then? That
    is something that shouldn't happen and might suggest replacing the controller.

    Day One Controller: batteries get extremely hot

    I think my controller is now working, but a couple of times with 2 different sets of batteries, it would get painfully hot within a couple of minutes of installing the batteries. The light on the controller would blink twice and then shut off. Should i
    be concerned here? What's causing the heat? Makes me worry that they're going to cause a fire.

    It's within policy to fill a replacement order for the controllers. Just be aware that there isn't a timeline for how long it will be before the controller will be replaced.

    It's actually been working without incident since that first day where it did it twice. Doesn't seem to be heating up. No guarantee it won't do it again. Haven't tried a USB cable for the controller.
