Day One Achievement Not Unlocking!

I Tried To Redeem My Day One Achievement yesterday and when i did it didnt pop the code wasnt used or anything and when i compare games with my friend that has the achievement it said Locked (100%) how do i get my achievement then?

How are you guys redeeming Xbox one day one codes in 2014? Im surprised you can still get your hands on these codes.

 

One potential reason is not being connected to Live at the time. Achievements do not pop (but can be earned) when offline.

If that is the case, connect to Live and hopefully it will unlock.

 

I have the same problem here in The Netherlands

I was online, scanned QR code andi see a message Congratulations! You are now the owner of the Day One Achievement but i dont see anything in my achievements

When i try it again it says the code has allready been used

When i look on the internet i see that a lot of people have this problem but i dont see any reactions of microsoft

Same thing happend to me initally, with the the congratualtions and nothing more.. but the suddenly it popped up a few hours later..

As far as I can tell I was Connected to Live the whole time...
