Day of the Tentacle Remastered Controls do not work

Hello,

When I try to play Day of the Tentacle Remastered from Xbox Game Pass the controls do not work. The cursor is stuck to one area and when you try to move it it goes back to the one spot. When I use keyboard it doesn't accept left key input so it's stuck only going to the right when even trying to choose settings in the main screen. When I use controller it has the same issue where it does not accept left input. I have a touchscreen laptop and I can control the game using touchscreen, but the game experience like this is really **** and I'd prefer to use different input. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, repaired the game through app settings, reset the game through app settings, disabled controller, disabled touchscreen, tried to run as admin, to no avail. I could not find anyone else online with this issue.
