Dawnguard DLC question

Discus and support Dawnguard DLC question in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; My friend said not to start Dawnguard until the civil war questline was completed or the other way around or something like that.     My friend said not to start Dawnguard until the civil war questline was completed or the other way around or something like that. He said it screws up the game. Anyone have a problem like this?

    Dawnguard DLC question

    Not that I ever experienced, the only time I remember the main questline being mentioned is when Serana asks you whos the high king and theres a war going on or its over, it doesn't screw up the game though.

    The crossbows are not in the Dragonborn DLC, but they are in the Dawnguard DLC.
