Daughter's Minecraft stuff all disappeared.

My 7 year old daughter is infatuated with this game on xbox 360. . She loves playing with all her cats, dogs, and other critters in the world she has created. She has built houses, restaurants, and even a village in the trees. Long story short, she LOVES
this game and has spent hundreds of hours creating it over the last year. Today she went to play in her little world, and everything she had created was gone. The world was still there, but all her stuff was gone once she entered it. Now I have a cute little
7 year old girl who's broken hearted and on the verge of tears. Please help! Is there anything I can do to get her world back the way it was?

Minecraft

I'm pretty sure Minecraft is just Minecraft. One game, Minecraft. There is also Minecraft story mode, that is a very different game, a telltale series.

 

Xbox Pins not working

Clear the cache on the hdd. My console was having no issues but my daughter's did where all her pins disappeared and had an error message about how they were not available at this time when I would attempt to re-pin. Once I cleared the cache it worked fine.

 

Sounds like someone might have destroyed your daughter's creations was there anyone else on her world when she was on before her stuff disappeared ? Unfortunately there is no way to retrieve a previous save but a good idea is to copy your daughter's save
game to iCloud at least once a week that way it prevents the massive loss of a saved world from being corrupted or creations being destroyed by other players

 

No. Nobody else was on the xbox since she last played it last night. So corruption is the only other thing that could have happened? How would it get corrupted? She plays offline, so I don't know how that could have happened.

 

Did you look at your storage device?This happen before and I accidentaly delete something in minecraft.Or maybe its a update problem if you don't update it,well I don't know how to help you

 

Do you always look at her when she's playing???Well the thing you need to do is ask her if they do something in the hard drive/storage device???

 

I have never heard of this happening it sounds very odd. If you deleted it, the whole world would be deleted. If someone else would of got rid of everything it would have taken hours. If it got corrupted you wouldn't be able to even get into the world. So
I'm assuming it's an updated bug.

 

It was probably a glitch in the game it does happen sometimes
