Daughter's account restricted , error 914

My daughter is trying to play on her Roblox account on the Xbox One, but it keeps saying it cannot link the accounts because of a restriction

i had a similar problem with restrictions for Minecraft too, neither of which are out of her age range anyway so no restrictions should be added.. either way, her account has no restrictions, its set up the same as mine.. so what is error 914 and why is a child
friendly game being restricted from my daughter???

can someone help as there's currently no xbox help available

I just recently downloaded Roblox and i signed into my account and it said error code "914" I have tried EVERYTHING ive tried changing my birthday to the same and restarting my Xbox but NOTHING!. Someone plz msg me back and tell me how to fix

Can you provide us with a little more information regarding the issue with what appears to be a settings related problem. Does it give you any particular error message or code (besides the 914) when trying to access her RoBlox or Minecraft games? It could
be that you may need to adjust some of her Privacy and Online Safety settings from a parental account if hers is a child account. Here's a link with more information about how to do that : Xbox

yes i'm aware its probably the child settings but i see absolutely no restrictions on her account, and when i try changing it to an adult account it says the service is down

the full error is 'An Error Occurred, The accounts could not be linked. Please review your Xbox age settings, Error Code: 914'

its her Roblox account which she uses on her phone, when trying to log in on the Xbox, it simply won't let her.. the account logs in fine on the phone so its definitely on Xbox's side not Roblox's side

Hello Styly

Does the account have a family thru xbox? If not you will have to tie the account to a parent account(example your account if have one) then once tied to a family download both profile to the console.

Here are a couple links that should help you out.

Make sure to re-adjust the privacy settings for the account.

I recommend to set the child settings to adult settings and see if that works.

Test another account on the same console and see if the error happens still.

There is also a Xbox live status
alert that could be causing the issue, so please check out the status page.

me and my daughter both have our own logins on the Xbox if that's what you mean

i have just used my Xbox log in and it actually DID let her log into her Roblox account, so its definitely an issue with her restrictions, which are all currently set as off

i'm forever having problems with her account, when i call up, they always tell me there's no restrictions

this is getting ridiculously frustrating

she can play for now though, so i'll leave it for now and give them a call tomorrow (or monday if they're not open sundays)

Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience. You will not be able to turn her account into an adult account. When the account turns 18 it will graduate itself to the status. If you have changed the
Xbox Live Privacy already you might need to change the app privacy. Some of these games make you eligible to view other players content. So you might change all online privacy like xbox live, to allow the child to play but
most of these games are connected to apps like twitch or mixer and other players develop and record feeds. So you have to make sure that the app permissions are set to be able to view other players content. You can find this info on
