    Daughter Can't Buy Avatar Items


    My daughter's XBL account is unable to purchase free avatar props. When on the console or trying via the web or via the Windows 10 app, it says, "Sorry Your account is unable to make this type of purchase on xbox.com. Please complete this transaction on
    your Xbox." Mind you I was getting this same message when trying to purchase the free item on the Xbox One as well.

    She doesn't have a credit card attached to her account, so that she can't just make random purchases, BUT she does have a gift card attached that we reload if she's allowed to buy something (currently she has around $3 left on the card.

    Purchasing avatar items for my daughter's account?

    Hi,

    My daughter wanted to edit her avatar today and we were browsing through the marketplace. She loves Vanellope from Wreck it Ralph. So I was going to purchase the Vanelleope t-shirt for my daughter's avatar and it says she is too young. Are child accounts
    just not able to purchase any avatar items or what? It seems wierd that I can't purchase a disney avatar item for my daughter's avatar to wear. Any help would be appreciated.

    my daughter is 4 years old, and she loves to play kinect sports 1&2, Just Dance 3, and Disney Kinect. Disney offers the princess outfits as a avatar item, but my daughter is not a gold member, but I am. How can i buy an outfit for her with my points? Any

    My son has the same issue. We've been to the Microsoft store and accessed Microsoft support and they can't seem to solve the issue either.

    Purchasing items for my daugther's avatar

    Gold is not required for buying avatar items. If you created a profile for your daughter, you need to purchase MS points on that account.

    Are avatars even a thing anymore?

    I had a lot of avatar items I bought for my old account, I don't even know if i'll bother buying anything for my new one.

    There's not much of a point anymore it seems.

    Too bad you can't transfer avatar items to another account somehow :/

    You should be able to buy avatar items on both this website and the Xbox avatar store.
