    Data transfer Xbox One S to Xbox Series X


    Hi all,

    Hoping someone can help.

    I followed the data transfer guides and it worked fine for the majority of games when trasferring from my old Xbox one S, over to my new Xbox series X.

    However, there were the exceptions which didn’t transfer, every time I try it stops the download but they are still held in the trasnfer / dowload list:

    - AC origins

    - AC Odyssey

    - Farcry 5

    Maybe its a Ubisoft thing?!

    How to transfer xbox one games to series x?

    You should be able to do that, yes:

    "Power down your Xbox One.

    1. Unplug the external drive.
    2. Connect the external drive to your Xbox Series X, S.
    3. Power on your Xbox Series X, S.
    4. Wait for the external drive to be detected. This may take a couple of minutes.
    5. When the drive is detected, you are free to copy any games you want onto the Xbox Series X, S internal storage."

    Hi,

    If you need another USB C cable that is compatible with data transfers, make sure it says something like 'Sync and charge'. All USB C cables that support data transfer can be used on Xbox Series X|S controllers.

    Depends .

    If it is a disk game and you are trying to transfer to an xbox one s digital or the xbox series s then no you are waisting your time

    Those are digital only consoles and disks installs require the bluesy or dvd to validate the install

    Digitally purchased game's can be transfered to save time yes

    If it's to an xbox one x or regular xbox one s or xbox series x disk and digital will work with them

    DLC content missing when downloading profile on "new" Xbox account.

    On Xbox 360 console license transfer is possible but on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S that is not an option.
