data tranfer

so i got an xbox one along with afew games, one of them was ACIV: Black Flag, is there any possible way to transfer the game data for Black Flag from my xbox 360 to my xbox one? because i'd rather not do the story and all the side activities all over again.

u can try to tranfer all your saved games data, profile, pic, themes, to a usb drive. Then put new hard drive in - reformat - then tranfer all the data from usb back to new hard drive .. Then redownload all your other content

i got a gamertag and i would like to transfer other profile on witch i was playing games on to it, is it pssible to do that or do i have to create a new gamertag for every player name i was using on my xbox360

 

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking, Vonpatten. Can you phrase your question a bit more clearly?

You can't transfer game saves, achievements etc. between gamertags if that's what you're asking, but if you have/had a 360 and you have a gamertag you used on that, you can sign into it on your Xbox One and continue using it.

As for game saves, there are a couple of games where you can import your 360 save over to the Xbox One version of the same game (Minecraft for instance), but generally speaking, the 360 and Xbox One versions of games are treated as being separate things,
unless the developer specifically includes the ability to import your 360 save.

 

I was able to use my 360 save for Black Flag on my Xbox One, it offered a one time transfer as I recall, BF4 was another.

 

so to keep my games on profile, i would have to create a gamer profile the same as the one i was playing on before i got to xbox live so i can save my games on???

i cannot just move the profile to a new gamer name.....

 

No, you log on to your Xbox One with your existing gamertag, the if the game allows, like Assassins BF and BF4, you can do a one time only transfer of data saving you the hassle of redoing what you have done.

Edit = Not all games allow this, Battlefield 4 does, and I remember something about Assassins, but not all games do.

 

let me explain ,i've been playing on that xbox 360 ,different games, under 2 different profile names...i didnt realy care at the time....now i've open an account and got a gamer name that is totaly different from the one i was playing with....now what i
would like to do is to tranfer the 2 profiles i played on for a while to my new gamer name on the account that i got now.....can i do that or is this machine just plain dum....

 

@Vonpatten. No, you can not combine the two accounts that you were playing on into the one you have now.
