Data Syncing Problems!?

Heyy guys,

So I've had Forza Horizon 2 since launch day, and had no problems with it.

Now, 2 days ago it started doing this.

It starts syncing data for about 4-5 minutes, then stops and says "Load failed: An unknown error occurred. Please try again later"

I've contacted Xbox support and they couldn't fix it because they said since it didn't work with all the things I tried, it is down to 'Turn 10' not Microsoft.

Problem is, it's near impossible to contact Turn 10....

What I've done already:

-Turned on & off

-Uninstalled Forza and reinstalled it.

-Cleared local save data

-Cleared system cache

-Completed a power cycle

Any solutions?

Problems syncing data

There is one thing I'd like to throw in here as 'food for thought'.

I would much rather someone... anyone (not specifically pointing @ Dufful) actually call it what it is... a DDOS attack. Yes, it's very true that many people may not know exactly what that is... but I'd much rather explain what it is 100 times if/when people
ask than have people panicking and thinking "OMG! XBL is hacked! what will happen to my personal info!?"

I say this from personal experience. When I hear 'hacked' my first thought is stolen information. Awhile back, before I knew what a DDOS attack was... the first time I heard DDOS attack, I thought "what is that?" and I asked. JMPO, but it just seems to me
that it would be less likely to cause people to panic and more likely to help educate people that way. Just sayin'.

 

Problems syncing data

I only called them hackers because I've noticed that there are "a lot" of people on here that don't know or understand what DDOS is. Even though it's an inaccurate description, it certainly is a lot easier for people to understand. And for all those saying
that Microsoft, and Sony shouldve done something and that this is bull crap, you should know that it happens a lot more on PC than on consoles. I've even seen competitive games of Cs go get Ddos just because one side was winning and people were going to lose
money. I've seen Dayz servers cop it from other groups just to raise their own numbers. Don't blame the companies. Blame the fools that do it! They ruined your day!!

 

Mine was stuck at 98%, so i went into the dashboard and back into the game and then it asked to try again, so i did and the progress moved to 100% and the game started. So try going to the dashboard and back into the game

 

My data sync was stuck at 100% and then said that they "were unable to sync your data with the cloud just now". So I would suggest that this is not just a Turn 10 problem Evoded and it may be worth speaking to support again.

 

Take out the disc when syncing worked for me

 

Am i the only one still with this problem? for me it like 10 mins or even more gets to 99 or 100 and just stays there doesn't move on. and i have done what he said.

I had to keep restarting the syncing process and in the end it eventually worked but none of the steps that you mentioned worked for me.

 

I am having the same problem and it 100% completes is still say invalid profile! Anybody else still having trouble?

 

yes having trouble, started 2 days ago, nothing works for me so far....such a bs problem

 

Mine is the same and now I have lost all my save game data due to this problem and makes me start a new game

I am having the same issue.....I've deleted, cleared cache, resynced, deleted and reloaded my account. Nothing has worked. I've been around XBL since the beginning and have to say that this console is by far the weakest attempt so far and the customer support
blame game between the developers and the XBox team is ridiculous. I don't need complete silence from T10 or a website moderator on Forza.net telling me its not T10, then call Xbox support only to have them blame T10. I don't care who is to blame, I just want
my $80's worth.....and I haven't gotten it yet.

 

I'm having the same issue. Once it finally got done syncing everything was gone. I request a call from Microsoft still waiting. I'll just end up calling them if I wait too much longer. I do know one thing if I can't get my data back I'm never buying a Forza
game again.

 

I got a call from Microsoft. It was funny that the guy put me on hold then we got disconnected after I mentioned this had been happening since Christmas
