    Data Sync


    So i just got internet installed in my home, so i connect my Xbox One to it and Forza Horizon 3 needs an update. so i update it and enter the game. It then asks me what storage method id like to sync with the game and i chose cloud storage thinking that
    i could still go back and use my internal storage saved data. But no. So now i have to restart the whole game. Though i still have all of my achievements and photos that I've taken within the game, which is odd. Can somebody please help me get all of my data
    back. Thanks

    I hate having to ask a n00b question, but...

    What are you trying to accomplish? If you're trying to start a game over, just delete the local save data, then when you start a game it will start to sync the cloud data. Just press the button to cancel this sync and you should be able to start a game fresh. Then when you play the game next time, it may say something like your save data is out of sync. Would you like to use the cloud or local save. Select to use your new local save, then it will start syncing that one to the cloud from then on.

    Alternatively, you can just create a new Xbox Live account and play the game on that.

    Dark souls 3 won't update calibrations

    I can't Sync dark souls 3 data or load calibration!!!! HELP!! I tried everything! uninstall profile, hard reset, factory reset, uninstall game ect. the data sync stops at 99% everytime!

    Hey there,

    Were you playing offline for most of the time before you had internet installed? If so, syncing from the cloud after connecting to the internet may have replaced your save with an earlier save when your Xbox One console might have been connected before.
    Unfortunately in this scenario there isn't a way to replace the newly synced cloud save with an older local only save.

    Syncing of Data

    You could try, if your saves are already backed up to the cloud:

    Go into my games > Fallout 4 > Press (≡) > Manage:

    Try to find on the right column the saves under your username, if they were already downloaded to the console

    Press menu on the saves -> select delete

    Make sure to click from console, NOT FROM EVERYWHERE (this would delete all of your saves forever)

    Power cycle your xbox

    Open Fallout 4 and let it reinstall (try to re-sync) your saves from the cloud.

    This is a lot of data, I ran out of game saves and there is 2 gb worth of storage so it can take quite a while. A reboot may help it along

    I'm having this issue with fallout 4. When I try to play it just says "syncing data for fallout 4" forever. No percentage ever comes up. If I try to cancel the sync and just play offline, I'm missing so many hours of game saves.

    My internet is working fine, and I've tried a bunch of different suggestions around here with nothing fixing the problem.
