Data storage device

When I play GTA V online the game resets to the beginning . the load online or story mode part. It tells me that it restarted because there is a problem with my storage device (16 GB) . If I uninstall it from there, will I lose all my online data and
achievements? When I reinstall it, will I have all my progress or is it lost. I have checked and there is no corrupted data in my device.

Magic 2015 - start campaign (deck) over?

Well you should be able to just go to system settings and then to the data storage and delete your profile for magic 2015.

From dashboard, go to settings, then system, then storage. Choose your storage device and delete profile data under Magic 2015.

(Error message) Existing player profile data appears to be damaged and cannot be used! (I lost all my campaign progress)

When the select a device screen pops up, select a different device (like cloud). Since there is no data it will download your player data from the EA servers.

Then go to the dashboard -> settings -> system -> storage -> (device you chose) -> battlefield 3

then MOVE the new profile data to your primary storage device.

NOTE this will delete any single player data you have saved, and ONLY single player sata.

Your online data and achievements will be saved in their respective cloud servers. However, please note that GTA V must be installed to a hard drive, and cannot be run off a USB - which is why you are suffering these issues.

Gotcha. If this is only happening with this storage device, it may actually be worth considering trying to move your content to another storage device

Once you've done that, see if with this entirely new storage device if this still happens with your console.

It is always important to make a "backup copy" of your profile either through another storage device or through a cloud save.

How I managed to backup my profile data is after when I am about to log off and turn off my console, go to options, then "storage location", then choose another storage device or the cloud if a storage device isn't available, then basically select that "storage
device" and it will back out to the start screen.

Just have to play a "private versus game" which it can be any one, just wait until the match starts up and quit out and it should show the "reading/writing data to leaderboards" which means the "new data" is written onto the "storage device" to protect against
resets.

I have been lucky I haven't been reset, but it is always important to not try and use the same "storage device" or the backup won't work.

Just want to get the word out on how to backup "profile data" if anyone isn't aware.
