    I registered for the update and got accepted and got my code also, now it says i cannot gain the update due to code of conduct on my previous 360. I also cannot join friends party and turn on party chat as they have the update also. I have an SR number if
    that is any help Dashboard Update Help Xbox One :)

    help with beta dashboard

    Its not a dashboard update. Its an Xbox LIVE update. If you look at the marketplace and try to buy something, you will see that Microsoft Points are no longer being used and if you have any MSP's on your account, you will be asked to turn those into your currency to use instead. I think there were a few updates to Xbox LIVE in general, but no dashboard updates. That will probably come in Fall like normally and closer to the release of the Xbox One.

    I wonder how the Friends List cap raise will effect 360.

    I assume it would be the same since it is an upgrade to Xbox Live which is not tied to the system itself. And MS did say they were updating the 360 dashboard to help transition to the Xbox One dashboard.
