Dashboard unresponsive. Tried everything

    Dashboard unresponsive. Tried everything


    The problem: My Xbox One turns on but after that I can't do anything. The dashboard loads and I can scroll though it and click on things but nothing happens when I do. I've tried going right to settings but it won't load. I can hold the
    power button down to bring up the system off menu but it acts the same, things are click-able but unresponsive.

    Solutions: I've tried a hard reset (holding the power button down for 10 seconds) numerous times, the dashboard remains in the same condition. I've unplugged everything and waited plenty of time. I've reset my internet modems/routers. I tried
    plugging the system into the wall thinking my power strip is failing to output enough into the console. Same problem continues.

    More info: I was watching Netflix last night. It crapped out and sent me to the dashboard with a error number, that I didn't pay attention to. Before I stared playing Netflix I uninstalled the Gears of War beta. (don't know why that would matter
    but just saying) I tried restarting the system then, it wouldn't work so I moved to the 360 and continued my day. It's now morning and it won't work.

    I'm guessing my console took a massive crap and I need a new one : (

    Nothing is working

    Same thing happening to me since the September update, Dashboard sometimes unresponsive , xbox live cutting in and out, can't access friends list. Tried factory reset and still nothing. So annoying Dashboard unresponsive. Tried everything :(

    Suddenly my dashboard is not responsing to A button for selections. I'll click a tab or window and it will flash on screen but not open. I will have to click 10-15 times to get it to open. All other buttons work fine. Other possibly related issue is during
    some games it's like my right stick is pushing up on its own. Ususally this is a view or look button so i always end up looking straight up.

    Ive done hard reset. I've unplugged, new batteries, updated controllers and switched controllers nothing works.

    Dashboard unresponsive

    If your right stick is automatically going up your controller might be suffering from stick drift and a repair/replacement is needed

    Do you have any other controller you can use to see if it is still automatically going up ?

    As for the dashboard not being responsive, could you try to delete your profile and download it again ?

    Dashboard redesigned again. Great, it'll get even slower and more unresponsive.......

    Have Microsoft finally realised how slow and unresponsive the dashboard is and we are going to go back to the 'blade' dashboard???

    Hello Dark Unicycle,

    I have tried resetting and I am trying to reload the app but it seems to be unresponsive. Earlier on I dragged everything from C: TO D: which took a while and then deleted what I had on C:. I am worried that I have messed up somewhere for the app to be unresponsive.
