    Dashboard turns black


    Hello,

    I have an issue where my dashboard turns from a grey screen to black and I can't access it. I can still use a few things like settings and when pressing the home button I get the overlay but choosing the store there just brings me to another black screen.

    I've tried to turn it on and off, hard reset, leaving it off with the everything unplugged for a while and also logging in and out...nothing seems to work.

    I've just installed my new X and it has been disappointing so far I'm afraid...

    Xbox One doesn't respond

    My Xbox One doesn't respond, when I turn it ON it shows a split second of the Dashboard Menu and the screen turns black, when I hold the dashboard button from my controller to shut it down,the Turn OFF menu shows up but doesn't responds either. Yes, I turn
    it off manually but it happens again when I turn it ON.

    Preview Dashboard Black screen

    I have the new dashboard. It was working fine until i turn on my xbox one today. The green loading screen comes up but when it goes to the new dash board its just a black screen. Voice commands pop up and when you say xbox turn off that pops up but. Still
    no new dashboard just a black screen. Can't even play games. Can some one help.

    Hey there Stepparn.

    Generally this is on the side of either an update issue or a network connection issue. How do you have your Xbox One connected to your network? If it's wireless try powering off completely and connect via wire and boot your console back up to see if there's
    any change.

    Can't sign in via dashboard, can't exit to dashboard once signed in

    This sorta happens to me. I can't sign in to Xbox LIVE when I'm on the Dashboard , but I can sign in if I go to black Ops or other games. But my screen doesn't turn black

    The green “XBOX” screen shows at boot up but the dashboard is all black. I also get the little blue pop up at the bottom of the screen that it has logged me onto my account (Hi “gamer tag”!) over the black dashboard.

    I’ve tried restarting many times.

    I’ve seen there’s a recent issue with the dashboard malfunctioning and turning the screen black, effectively bricking the console unless you can reset it. I can’t even bring up a troubleshoot menu to reset it though.
