    Dashboard tile highlight color


    Why is everything on the dashboard highlighted Green, when on the Personalization options I chose Blue? I didn't choose blue so every tile would be highlighted green.. it completely clashes with my background and is annoying the F out of my OCD. Why say
    I can personalize it if you're choosing it for me? It was not like that prior to this last update. Annoying.

    Background and color

    Since the last update I lost my dashboard background, color and tile transparency settings. It's stuck on the default black background and blue tile color. When I change my settings, they do not take effect. I tried a hard reboot and it did not fix the
    problem.

    Xbox dashboard tiles aren't the new glossy green

    The tiles on my new dashboard were the new glossy dark green tiles for about 2 days then they reverted back to the plain solid lime green color. How do I get back to the new ones? I can post pictures if you need me to.

    why is the disc spinning when on the dashboard

    At the dashboard, the disc should not spin past the initial read of the disc to load the game tile graphics and any graphics needed for the dashboard. If you're not leaving the game tile highlighted, nothing should be spinning.



    Open a ticket with support to report the issue.

    @smiles....sure, "dashboard" is this game that so many want to play. Change tile color stare at dashboard for 5 minutes, flip to store menu.....stare for 5 minutes. Change tile color, flip to achievemnet menu.....stare for 5 minutes....now, instead of changing
    colors, people want to add some sort of background image...that way their endless hours staring at menus will be more enjoyable somehow...meanwhile I will be playing GAMES. Because as soon as I see a menu I use it to quickly launch (via voice, controller,
    or harmony remote). ;)

    There is already an option for that. I really want my themes back. I love that I can change tile colors, but the dashboard looks bland.

    There was a problem with the update

    To delete, you should be able to highlight the game/app tile on the dashboard, then press the menu (old start) button. One of the options *should* be delete or uninstall. (I'm working from memory, but I think that's the right spot....)

    While you are on the dashboard on the home tab & with the game inserted press either X or Y (whichever one has the option for "game details") with the game tile highlighted & you should have the option to install it to the hard drive.
