dashboard shows only apps and games button

My dashboard/ home screen shows only the games and apps button and I can play games from there in addition I can pull up the side bar but can only sign in absolutely nothing else is responding no settings no connect to internet nothing. It shows no pictures/thumbnails
of any kind. Can't slide the screen over to the xb store or anything else supposedly available. Plz help me. It's the day one edition.

XB1 User Console & Games Review

@turk3y - to exit an app/game use the menu button once over the tile in the dashboard. I needed to do the same to get some content to show in Forza.

Cannot found DLC of Dirt showdown on xbox one "my adds and games" by Backward compatibity,although had download it from xbox.com

From the Xbox One dashboard, scroll down the Home screen and select 'My games & apps'.

In the 'My games & apps' screen, highlight the DiRT Showdown tile and press the menu button on your Xbox One controller to select 'Manage game'.

From here, check the 'Ready to install' portion of the menu to see if the DLC shows

If you are still seeing this happen let's try a cold boot of the console by unplugging it for a full 5 minutes then check if you still see this behavior. If you do, please check that you have a solid connection to your network by using the

Press the start button on the controller when you have the app open but your on the dashboard at the same time ...you will have the option to quit the app or game. But only works when your on the dashboard.

All they have showed us was the dashboard and some app features. They haven't even begun to show us the games and gaming capabilities. If they had a press conference only showing us the 360 dashboard and apps it would be the same way. Wait until E3 before
you jump to conclusions. If they disappoint you there, then feel free to be upset. As of now we know nothing.

Can you locate the DLC in My Games and Apps > Push START (3 lines button) on your game > Manage Game > your DLC is listed there. Download the DLC and then push START on your game tile in the dashboard and then Quit. Then restart the game.

i just tried this and it doesn't show the dlc only the game.

The app also may only be available to US users right now it does not seem to show on the UK dashboard but does on US, even though the TAC for the scratch games show the UK as a applicable country.

Possible it has yet to be added to the UK dashboard.
