I don't think an app is part of dashboard. That would be saying you can add comments on a live game stream on Mixer part of dashboard.

    Dashboard question?

Hey there! I didn't like the dashboard at first myself, but it's not bad once you get used to it. To get to the dashboard, just press the Xbox button on your controller. This will leave the game running in the background, which is great if you want to watch
some Netflix and when you go back into your game it will be right where you left it. To quit a game, highlight it on the dashboard, press the menu button (start on the 360), and choose Quit. If you want to voice your opinion on the dashboard, the best place
to do that is Xbox Ideas, powered by UserVoice . Microsoft uses that site to see what their fans want, and that's where things like backwards compatibility have come from.

    I hope this helps!

  5. Hey mate, I know the Xbox One dashboard is a kick in the guts when coming from the 360, but you get really used to it, trust me.

So to go back to the dashboard during a game, you hit what was the the guide button on the 360 in the middle of the controller and it will completely take you back to the dash while keeping your game active, just select the game tile to bring it back up
    again.

If you want to completely close the game hit what was the 'start' button (little button to the left of the 'guide' button) and it will bring up a few options, the bottom one being 'quit' you can also use this method to close anything down.

One last piece of advice is set up your pins, pins will sit to the left on the dashboard and make navigating with the controller really easy, see here for pins:

Oh and if you leave a game open when closing down the console and have the 'instant-on' feature enabled, you're game should automatically resume from where you last left it! It's pretty amazing, see here:

Xbox has done something with the dash. Don't worry about it. Mine moved last night and then it was back in the same spot this morning.
