Dashboard not loading

Settings, network, advance settings, alternate Mac address, clear, restart console... got my dashboard working and those steps came from some1 from xbox

Do a hard reset of your console (hold the power button for 5-10 seconds, wait until you hear a click, wait until the power brick turns amber, and then turn it back on).

I'm having a similar problem, but it is intermittent. It's always been like that, but it was just a minor inconvenience until now. Now, since I've installed the Dashboard update, whenever I have to manually login, the Dashboard just keeps loading and loading
and loading. There's two things I can do. 1)Restart the Xbox and pray it doesn't make me manually sign on or 2) Pop in a video game, wait until it loads, and exit out of the game, where the Dashboard loads.

It's the dashboard performance mostly. It takes for ever to load up when I turn the console on. When I go to My Games or any part of the dashboard, the list takes forever to load. Etc.

It's just something you are going to have to deal with.

The dashboard loads a lot slower because of all the content that needs to download, all those boxes need to be filled with something. You can test this by disconnecting your Xbox 360 from the Internet and then restarting your console, it will almost immediately
load into the dashboard since it doesn't have to download anything to load up the dashboard.
