Dashboard is very slow to load.

Until last night I have had no issues with my xbox 360. I came home from work and the dashboard took about a minute to load. I have also been experiencing issues with Netflix and YouTube, they both tell me services are unavailable. I have no idea why its
so slow all of the sudden, is it a issue a lot of people are experiencing or is it just me.

Hi Fizzle,

What I meant was that I tried booting up the 360 without any devices (HDD) attached and that it did not improve the issue.

However I detached the ethernet cable and turned of my modem so the 360 could not connect through WiFi and it immediately loaded up the profile selection screen!

Apparently this did the trick because after attaching the ethernet cable again it booted up flawlesly *knocks on wood*.

Dashboard will load up very slow

G'day CYAN! It definitely sounds like something's going funky when your console communicates with your modem. Is there any change in behavior between your wired connection and wireless? Also, have you tried cycling the modem by unplugging it from power for
2 minutes?

If you're able to get past that initial login screen, head to your network settings and run a connection test. Let's see if any errors pop up there, and

what result you get.

Try to reboot both your modem and router. Xbox Live has its good days and bad days. It seems the dashboard is too focused on loading the uneeded Kinect and advertisement overheads instead of loading itself :|

Hello Mister Ohnaka,

I have the same 3 XBL profiles on both consoles and the delay occurs before I sign in with any of them.

My main console with which I first experienced this issue is connected through wired, while the other is connected through WiFi.

My modem is a Ubee - EVW3200.

Hello there, unfortunately after three times of flawless booting up the issue has returned.

After spending a very long time on the grey screen with the white circle spinning, I am now stuck at the profile selection screen trying to sign into Xbox Live.

Any advice is very welcome!

Clearing the cache has not helped and neither has removing the HDD from the 360 and booting it improved this issue.

Anyone have any other suggestions.
