Dashboard Gone from Xbox Series X

    Dashboard Gone from Xbox Series X


    I just signed into my Xbox series X after not using it for a couple days.

    The dashboard is now basically blank, like I'm not signed into the internet or anything. However I can still access the Xbox store and when I hit the home button it says I am signed in.

    Was there a recent update or something that deleted all my customizations?

    Apologies, I meant to reply earlier. My dashboard was back the next day without issue. I'm not sure why it was out but it seems to have resolved itself.

    I'm sorry to hear you've been experiencing some issues with your console.

    The latest OS update for non-Insider users was released a week ago, and there are no reports of it deleting existing dashboard customization.

    Would you mind giving this a try?

    - Press and hold the Xbox button on your console until it shuts down.

    - Remove all external storage devices from your console's USB ports.

    - Unplug the power cord from your console for 3 minutes.

    - Turn your router/modem off and unplug it for a minute.

    - Plug everything back together and turn your console on.

    Please let me know if this works for you.

    Naming of the consoles

    Bro you literally sound like my teacher lol. After releasing one s, there came xbox one x. And now Series X which is kinda confusing because they should have gone from Series S to Series X in such harmonious pattern but rather mixing up the names. Xbox can do better and I know that. I'm not being toxic but bro they have to do something about the naming of their consoles that's all just like naming Windows OS from after XP.
