Dashboard freeze after quitting a game

Occasionally when I exit a game the dashboard freezes, I can hear the movement of the icons in the background but the dashboard itself sticks on the home screen and I have to hard reset the One X to get it working again.

Anyone else getting this issue? Dunno if its a firmware problem or what.

Xbox one drops to dashboard in between loading games.

Just to be clear the game starts to load then drops to the dashboard. Only after swapping disks without quitting in between the games.

Yep same here. Only had this problem yesterday but I quit two different games and my Xbox One X froze on the home screen. Even a power cycle didn't fix it. My X has been playing games fine just this freezing problem when quitting back to home. I suspect
it's a firmware issue but if it continues beyond the next Operating System update I'll be contacting MS directly.

 

Same as well, after i quite a game, the dashboard will lag and Freeze, defo seems to be related to the latest firm ware, Here is hoping that MS will release a update that will address this.

 

I have had my X for almost one month and it did the same thing to me today. After I quit a game, I can't go to the home screen, I just get a blank screen. I unplugged my X for about 10 seconds and that seemed to take care of the
issue when I booted it back up. Hopefully it is just a glitch since I have the X set to stay active and update even when turned off. Note just turning the X off did not fix the issue, I had to unplug it from the wall.

 

Had it happen to me for the first time today.

Quit a game and the console froze, home button would not work, had to press and hold the console power button for 10+ seconds to restart.

Will see if it happens again as I play various games this evening.
