    dashboard and store apps,along with online purchases not working


    Hi thelast couple of days ai haven't beenable to access all the featureson xbox live. I get messages saying sorry we cant show feautred games. at the moment on my dashboard home part of the store. Also cant access games for gold or see the broadcasts part
    on dashboard which also has sorry cant show this at the moment. Also i cant buy anything from the store or play online. My Internet connection is good and nat type is open. I did change my email adresss linked to my account last week but ithink i verify it
    all, as i can sign into Xbox live.

  3. Online Apps, game store, messaging, and online in game content not working

    I am unable to play online in game. Also, I am not able to access the general messages, apps, or game store.

    A few troubleshooting things I have tried:

    -Resetting my router

    -Rebooting my console

    -opening up ports so that my nat type is now open

    -resetting my MAC

    When I test network connection it says everything is good. Also, when I test multiplayer connection, it says everything is good.

    Any other suggestions or insight would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

    please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

    http://support.xbox.com/en-us/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console


    If that fails try the following steps

    1. Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account, since you will need them later)
    2. Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

    3. Redownload your profile ​

    If these steps fail, then its best to contact Xbox Support (via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat) at

    Buying apps for kids

    Thank you for that. Make sure that the account where the game was purchased is signed in under the Microsoft Store App along with the Xbox App and then check under the "Library" to install the games.

    As far as I know, it's not possible to purchase points by SMS. Currently, you can buy points from the Xbox Dashboard and at most retail and online stores.

    I'm not certain that the iOS app will let you purchase anything via the App due to Apple's App Store policies. You'd have to purchase on the console or website. The Xbox Store is available online for purchases here: https://www.xbox.com/en-us/games/xbox-one
