Darksiders II, Xbox One version, disc not reading on Series X

Ok, I contacted the developers, but I don't really want to "Factory Reset" uninstall 2TB of games that I spent a day and a half installing. I'd prefer to just play the game on my One X, but hopefully there is a fix for this issue on the way. Thanks for helping and making the referral to THQ support.

I tried all of that, but the Series X doesn't even show there's a disc in it.

Regarding your issue, I recommend that you try following the troubleshooting steps provided below in order to resolve your issue:

Please follow the next steps:

1- Go to settings

2- Select devices and connections

3- Select blu-ray

4- Choose persistent storage and clear it

If the issue still persists after going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 10-15 seconds plug all your cables back in and then restart your console.

If the problem is only with this disc, I recommend you to try the following, please.

Step 1. Press and hold the Xbox button on the console for at least 10 seconds to open the Power center.

Step 2. Then unplug the power supply from your console and wait for 3 minutes.

Step 3. Plug the power supply back into the Xbox console.

Step 4. Press the Xbox button on the console to turn it on again.

Another solution you may be trying is to do a factory reset on your console, for that follow the instructions below.

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

On the Reset your console? screen, you'll see three options:

*You will have the options to keep your games and applications, but in this specific case of you, I would recommend you to delete everything, as there may be something corrupted in the system that does not allow this game to be read.

And, if you believe that something is wrong with your Xbox series x hardware, I recommend that you request a repair order for it. I don't believe that's it, because other media work just as well as you said.
