Darks souls 2 trouble

I was in my xbox 360s storage device(hard drive) and I went to dark souls 2. I seen 3 things my downloading of the dark souls 2 to my xbox. A title update and last one saved game data. But the thing is I have 2 characters. To further describe it said for
the title SAVE DATA and rate under it said saved game. but should that be games or have another saying the same. So I am thinking either my xbox deleted a character or all my characters go into one SAVE DATA instead of some other games were if you have two
characters it will show in your hard drive that there are two distinct Save game data. So I guess my question is. Are my characters getting deleted from Dark souls 2 or are they going into one collective SAVE DATA section in my hard drive.

It is a Dark Souls forum. Since there was no official Dark Souls 2 forum, people started using this one for Dark Souls 2 as well.

Can't you answer that question for yourself by loading up Dark Souls 2, selecting "Continue" and verifying that you can choose from all the characters you've created?

 

They do this so you can't copy a single file with a lot of good weapons and sell/copy them. If you tried you will also notice you can't copy the file either, you can only move it.

 

@PIRATE - How does one character per save file versus multiple characters per save file make any difference? If it's the former - you would just copy one file for each character. If it's the latter - you would just copy one file for all characters.

I am not talking about copying files. I was just wondering if dark souls 2 uses 1 save file in the hard drive for all characters or multiple save files for each character. like if you look at skyrim in the hard drive it shows the name of each character and
their individual save files. because if it uses a file for each character like lots of other games then 1 of my characters would be deleted.

 

Like crunchy1X, I'm wondering why you don't just start up the game and check to see if you have both characters.

 

It uses one save file for all of your characters. The file just gets larger in bytes the more characters you have

If you can't start up the game, then why did it matter whether you can't play with 1 or both of your characters?
