    Darken screen when first start my Xbox One


    When I first boot up my Xbox One I’m getting a darken screen. It is like someone turned down the brightness on the TV till I can just see the dashboard. But if I restart the Xbox One it all work fine. I’ve checked everything is plugged in & I’ve
    played around with brightness on my TV. I have also gone in the display setting on the Xbox One & changed some of the setting but nothing seem to work apart from restarting the Xbox One.



    Has anyone else had this & were you able to fix it?

    Dont turn on

    My xbox one starts but the screen turn dark and never get to home, sometime it does, but it never charges for complete

    Dim display after booting Xbox one

    Recently I have been experiencing issues after turning on my console. The screen will be extremely dim. The white Xbox one logo that displays during startup appears almost dark grey. And when I'm at the home screen it's very dark. Restarting the console
    fixes this issue. But it happens everytime I turn it on for the first of the day. Could this be a software update issue after the last update?

    I have started getting this issue also.

    I was a part of the preview programme for a few months, then I opted into the NXOE, then I left the preview programme altogether. Since then I have experienced this darkening issue, and the last four days, every time I turn on the box after a few hours of
    inactivity, this happens. I have to turn the Xbox off and back on again to go back to normal.

    I have my system power options set to, Instant On

    Are either of you currently opted-in to the new NXOE Preview Update? If not, have either of you had any regular updates lately?

    This is starting to be a trend. For the last four days, I have also been dealing with this problem. And NO I have not participated in any preview or beta tests of any kind. Also, I have updated the system whenever it is available. Currently, it is becoming
    quite annoying to restart the system every time just to play a game or watch a movie. This needs to be fixed before more gamers are affected.

    I've had that issue too.However today it was reversed,when I turned my console on it worked fine so I played some games shut off the console but when I turned it back on the screen was darkened until I turned it off and on again.

    When you start the game, click options. Under Graphics, there's two options side by side saying "Windowed" and "Full Screen." The Full Screen option should be darkened. Click on that, and the game will say it needs to restart. Click yes, then relaunch
    the game. The game should be in full screen mode.
