    I got it to work. First, make sure you own it, then try these steps.

    1 hold the xbox button on the front of your console for ten seconds (power cycle)

    2 DO NOT sign in yet!!! Very important.

    3 scroll down to the green "my games and apps"

    4 if you already owned it, it should be there ready to download on the far right. Not sure what happens if you dont own it though.

    * You will not be able to download if you sign in. Not sure why. Good luck.

    Blame From Software? You could visit the Dark Souls forum and see if there's a workaround.



    Also, can you try moving the save back to your old 360, see if it works?

    Dark Souls 3 Server Issues

    I realise intermittent server issues are common to the dark souls series. However, currently it is worse than ever. This is server-side as many others report similar issues to other sites. I have a solid 100mbps connection with open NAT and no issues with
    any other games or live services. Completely unable to join Dark Souls 3 servers, receiving the message "Failed to log in to the DARK SOULS 3 game server.". Wouldn't ordinarily complain but the issue has become more rampant than ever and appears to no longer
    have a workaround.

    Bummer, I thought this was a Dark Souls forum.

    It is a Dark Souls forum. Since there was no official Dark Souls 2 forum, people started using this one for Dark Souls 2 as well.
