Dark souls wont play for me.

My Brother bought Dark Souls awhile back (Digitally) and I have played Dark Souls on my Gamertag before on the Xbox 360 he currently owns. then one day after I had done a considerable bit of playing. I went to play it and a message popped up saying "Dark
Souls Can't Start"

Why? this some form of DRM? I'm so *** because it started doing that for all games he purchased and downloaded from the Marketplace. His Gamertag can play it but, I can't and the only work around I know of only works for Arcade games not Full 360 games.

Log in as him then at the start menu log out and log in as mine. when I try that it kicks me from the entire game.

Cannot download BC Dark Souls

Hello,

I see dark souls in the store when I search for it. All I can do is view the hub, it wont let me download it or play it.

Dark souls code clarification

I would like someone from xbox support to clarify this for me once and for all. When the dark souls 3 promotional code for the original dark souls finally arrives, will it allow me to play the original dark souls on xbox one or not?

Try removing then redownloading your profile from the console entirely, see if that helps.

might also need to revert console to factory settings in between, clear cache, then see if she fires.?

This is me right here. I got Dark Souls on release day in Oct, then got skyrim and I played Skyrim all of Nov, but once Dec came, it's been nothing but Dark Souls since. I haven't even played Skyrim in a while.

I realize that dark souls will be backwards compatible eventually. My issue is that the description led me to believe that this code would alow me to play dark souls on the xbox one as soon as i got it. I already own dark souls for 360, and if i have to
wait anyway, i would rather use the game i own.

^^ It's hard for me to play thru a game more than twice. Dark Souls and Shadows of the Damned are the last 2 that I have played more than 2 times to completion. I finished Dark Souls 5 times.
