    Dark Souls won't download.


    Hi, I tried downloading Dark Souls since its free from GwG, but then it says that it can't download it. I have 49GB of memory left. Any suggestions as to why this is happening?

    I suggest buying Dark Souls and getting the expansion for it, unless that too won't download.

    Dark Souls Code not received

    I pre-ordered Dark Souls 3 with promotion for the free backwards compatible Dark Souls. Dark Souls 3 is great but have not received code to download Dark Souls.

    You'll need to have your console, account and game be from the same region. If any are from a different region it will not allow you to download the game.

    So if you bought the console in the US, have the account made in Turkey and are trying to download a Japanese version, it won't work. EVERYTHING has to match.

    It wasn't the region code, it was because I didn't have a credit card on my account which Microsoft failed to mention.

    Just to confirm, it won't let you play the Dark Souls that you downloaded last year?

    If you downloaded the GwG version and still have the original on your hard drive that may cause issues.
