dark souls storage selection

I loaded up (for the first time) dark souls on my Xbox one and downloaded the update. I started it up and it prompted me to choose a storage device. I save all my games to the hard drive and only 50% of my storage is used. The only option was "cloud storage
(1.9gb)" which I dont want to use. How can I save this game to my hard drive? I am using the forza 6 version of the Xbox one with 500 gb hard drive

Cloud storage offline need support

I went back to play Dark Souls and it said my cloud storage is offline and i cant play my game online.

Message with code has gone

So I preordered Dark Souls 3 some time around March last year. The issue is that as a preorder bonus I received Dark Souls 1 as a code in a message from Xbox around May. I never used the code due to storage but now the message is gone, I did not delete the
message it is just no longer in my messages. So can the message be retrieved or can the code for Dark Souls be retrieved?

Hi, the xbox saves to the cloud and the hard drive. there is no way to just save to the hard drive.

It may be worth a shot at deleting any failed update.

Go to settings, system, storage. Highlight the storage device and press LB RB X LB RB X in sequence, select yes on the next screen, the xbox will restart and attempt to update again. You may need to use the disc of Dark Souls 2 to complete the update if
indeed that works at all.
