    Dark Souls Key?


    Just got done talking to support and they told me to come here. After seeing how many people are having the exact same problem it's upsetting that we can't get a definitive answer. It's more like rumors instead of answers. Just like everyone else I would
    like to know when I will receive Dark Souls... I purchased the pre-order on 2/18.

    Bummer, I thought this was a Dark Souls forum.

    It is a Dark Souls forum. Since there was no official Dark Souls 2 forum, people started using this one for Dark Souls 2 as well.

    Do you need help with something in Dark Souls?

    Dark Souls Code not received

    I pre-ordered Dark Souls 3 with promotion for the free backwards compatible Dark Souls. Dark Souls 3 is great but have not received code to download Dark Souls.

    Hey mate,

    Yeah its a little grey unfortunately. I replied in another thread, so will just copy that so you can see what I said:

    Codes are usually generated 7-10 days, and will be sent to you through xbox messages. Also, it only stated that the codes will be generated after 7-10 days, however doesn't state whether that is 7-10 days after you pre-order, or after the game is released.
    So it could be either

    "For a limited time, purchase Dark Souls III on the Xbox One Store and get Dark Souls for Xbox 360, to become playable on Xbox One at a later date. The code for Dark Souls will be delivered to your Xbox message center in 7-10 days."

    And of course, after I post that I found out that apparently they are all going out on the 4th Dark Souls Key? :) If you don't receive it by then, please make a thread in the forum below, and from there a support agent will assist Dark Souls Key? :)

    Games for Windows Live is garbage

    You can not copy and paste the key into GfWL. Try manually entering the code instead.

    Worked for a number of people who bought Dark Souls through Steam and got the invalid key message.
