Dark Souls - Items on another xbox are waiting to be uploaded. Help?

When starting this game I get a message that says "items on another xbox are waiting to be uploaded" after selecting the cloud (only option) as my storage device. It tells me to go back to that xbox and upload the saves, and until I do I can only play offline
which does not save progress.

Problem is the xbox I last played this on is long gone. I don't even care at this point about my old saves. I'll start from scratch anyway, but as it is I can't select a storage device.

What can I do so that I can play this game on my account?

I am having the same issue. I have my 360 still and that doesn't help as it says "Items on another Xbox are waiting to be uploaded for this game or app. To use cloud storage, sign in to the Xbox you last played on and upload the items to the cloud." referring
to my Xbox one. So I cant even start a new game. There is another forum on this where more people are having this issue with Dark Souls but i haven't got a response yet.

I just downloaded Dark Souls on my Xbox One and it's not allowing me to play without the game not saving my progress. When I select the storage device for the game saves, I choose the only one available, Cloud Storage, and it gives me an error. "Items
on another Xbox are waiting to be uploaded for this game or app. To use cloud storage, sign in to the Xbox you last played on and upload the items to the cloud."

I don't have an Xbox 360 anymore and I have no way to access that data.

 

I'm posting here hoping to get a response in one of these threads but i am having the exact same problem. Having your old Xbox 360 doesn't solve the problem. When i go back to mine it gives me the same error and i can't move or delete the data from the cloud
because of this. I know this doesnt help much but at least you know you dont need you old 360.

 

Hey, General C34! It looks like that error only appears on the Xbox 360 when another console is trying to either use the save, or it's pending an upload (as seen on our
360 cloud save article). It's likely that it's somewhere, on an older console, trying to upload to the cloud.

It's kind of weird if you think about it too hard...

Do you have access to *any* 360 to try to load the game up there and see if you get the same error? I think that would be a good place to start.

EDIT: Looks like Steve hopped in before I refreshed. I still highly suggest trying a 360 console. Just because it doesn't work for one person, it could still work for you. And it's a troubleshooting step that needs to be attempted if there is
access to a 360.

 

As of now i am locked out on both systems. I cant move the data or delete it from the 360 it says "items on another xbox are waiting to be uploaded" Then i go to the xbox one and try to run the game and it says the same error. I have gone back and forth
a few times. I also started a new game on the 360 and saved it on the hard drive. I then moved this data to the cloud, overriding the cloud saved data, and then went back to the xbox one again and got the same error. Also because you cant delete the cloud
saved data i cant start a new game on the xbox one or select a save device without getting that error.

 

I am having this issue as well. Is there really no way to manage your cloud data separately on Xbox One?

 

I managed to get this working but i had to delete my saved data to do it. When you are in the xbox 360 emulator on the xbox one you can hit the start and select button at the same time which opens the xbox 360 menu. Go down to manage storage and delete the
cloud saved data for the game. Then exit and continue loading the game and create a new save on the cloud and it worked fine. I turned off the xbox one and started again and the game found the cloud data fine without error messages and the online function
of the game seems to be working.

Can anybody help me figure out where to find my dark souls 1 download code? I've had the pre order version of dark souls 3 for a week now and dark souls 1 hasn't showed up.

 

Will I lose everything by doing this STEVEOkx66?
