Dark Souls GwG and Artorias of the Abyss

I downloaded the games with gold Dark Souls, and since I am enjoying the game, decided to buy the Artorias of the Abyss DLC. It appears that the GwG Dark Souls is the pre-patch version, meaning I can't even access the DLC I paid $14.99 for. I've already
contacted xbox customer support, and all they did was have me uninstall the game, the dlc, and my profile, clear the system cache 3 times and had to redownload it all again, which I knew was not going to work, but decided to humour my representative seeing
as how I waited on the phone for 20 minutes, and he obviously did not understand what I was trying to explain when I told him my DLC would not work because the GwG Dark Souls was the vanilla release version with no patches.

Anyways, my question is, will this be fixed anytime soon or did I just waste my money on a DLC I can't play unless I go out and buy a disc copy of Dark Souls? It's pretty disappointing that this has not been fixed already, as I have seen numerous people
complaining about the same thing I am.

Hi,

I want to gift my brother a digital version of the Dark Souls DLC Artorias of the Abyss. How do I do that? I don't own an Xbox 360. First time on this website.

Hello there, Microsoft released the pre-patch version of the game by accident, they said they are fixing this problem, no date though. So I suggest just waiting. Re-downloading the game wont help. If you see an update for the game make sure you download
it, that means it will be fixed. Hope that helps.
