Dark Souls Game Code Not Received

Amen brother! As of now I will never pre order another item through microsoft or xbox venues. And seriously contemplating a change in consoles. I too have been barraged with mis truths and misinformation. I was sent an email with the following link:

Which basically says that the game does not have a set date for release. So the 7-10 day period was simply for the code and never for the actual game in the first place, which was never elaborated upon. I personally am expecting some kind of either incentive
or refund option. If not, microsoft lost another loyal customer and ill almost bet sony will inevitably win the next console race by a landslide if something as simple as a pre order incentive cant be met with some sort of truth. News flash microsoft, there
are other options. I will give it to the end of the week, reluctantly might I add, and if no resolution is met that makes up for this false promise, I will be making the jump to ps4.

 

Hey game buddies. Just had 9th support chat and got the real info on our issue. Turns out the code for DS1 will be sent out 2 weeks after DS3 releases. When I pointed out the promo says 7-10 days, and btw it doesn't say business days, it says days, I was
told that yes, it said 7-10 days, but it didn't specify 7-10 days from date of purchase. They meant 7-10 days from day of release. WHAT THE ****! Worse part is when I asked what compensation Microsoft was offering for the outrageous lies they tell consumers,
I was told that it wouldn't be fair to give me any compensation since several people were also experiencing the same issue and they weren't getting compensated. WHAT THE ****? I have been tweeting my outrage and you should to. Super ***, disenchanted, bitter
and frankly a little hurt to be lied to by an old friend I trusted. Trading in for PS4 I suppose. Dirty tricks suck!

 

yeah i am also waiting on the code after buying on the 18th, its been eleven days and now this is getting ridiculous, is there no way support can just send us the code??

 

They should compensate us all collectively or offer a refund. I say we mail them bags of *** to reflect their policies.

 

Preorder Dark souls 3 and receive a code for dark souls 1 in 7 to 10 days. You have our money now give us what was promised. Your entire team is giving different answers to everyone. "No it means 7 to 10 business days" "No it means 7 to 10 days after release
of dark souls 3" etc etc.....please. It's absolutely pathetic that I was sent to this forum for help but GetJakeRyan has been looking for answers since the 25th of last month, no closer to getting a code. This will be the last preorder digitally I bother with

 

Just got off of Xbox Support Chat and "Tony" says that the codes will be out tomorrow

 

Bad News I talked to Microsoft Xbox support (800) 469-9269 here's the # an they confirmed that DS1 code will not be delivered within the 7-10 days from preorder but after DS3 comes out so 7-10 after DS3. An you can do refunds I had mine added to my Microsoft
account balance. Its unfortunate for them because its was a sweet deal if they delivered within preorder since I will not get it digital anymore an buy it somewhere else. To good to be true

 

I bought DS3 delux edition 12 days ago in a promotion where I would get a code for the DS1. 12 days and l still didn't get the code

 

Almost ready to cancel my preorder. 7-10 days means 7-10 days, Microsoft. Not 2 weeks or whatever AFTER you release DS3. Know what I'll be doing when you release DS3? Playing it, not playing DS1! Follow through with that you advertised, or at the very
least give your customers a concrete answer to what is happening here.

 

I pre ordered Dark Souls 3 almost 2 weeks ago and still have not got my code. The marketplace said that it would be 7-10 days for the codes and it is now day 12. I know some people have posted on here that it would possibly come on the 29th, which is today,
and I still haven't got it and the day is nearing the end. I would like to play this game before the next one comes out. I have never had any problems with getting codes before usually when I have downloaded a game that has a special offer like this I get
the code almost the next day so I don't know what is going on with this one. I talked to customer support and all they did was send me here so I just want some answers and the code as soon as possible.
