Dark Souls Download Code Only 22 Characters in Length

I purchased Dark Souls 3 Day One Edition and with it I received a full game download code for Dark Souls. I haven't even looked at redeeming it until today, but noticed that it is only 22 characters in length so I am not able to redeem via the Xbox console
or online. Anyone else experience this issue? Are there any fixes for this? Any help would be much appreciated. I was looking forward to going back and playing Dark Souls on a different console once Dark Souls 3 is complete. Thanks!

Code missing three digits

The Dark Souls download code i got with Dark Souls 3 seems to be missing the final three characters of the 25-digit code.

 

Twenty-two Character Code Instead of 25.

I have same issue, I picked up a new copy of Dark Souls 3, which included a code for Dark Souls. The only problem is that the code is short 3 characters.

I have this same problem has anyone got their code worked out?Microsoft told me to contact Bandai Namco and no response yet .I would just like to know if anyone has got their issue solved

Sorry to hear about the mishap with your code. Unfortunately we don't have any codes to offer as replacement here but Bandai Namco should definitely be able to help. It might take a bit to hear a response due to the weekend, but keep an eye out!

 

Unfortunately I wasn't able to resolve this with Bandai. They did respond however fairly quickly, but they will ask for a copy of the receipt to be provided to them. I had since recycled mine, so I wasn't able to get this resolved. It's pretty sad when the
responsibility is thrown back at the customer when it's the manufacturer's own quality control that caused the issue in the first place. I have since just bit the bullet and bought a new hard copy on eBay.
